As a woman in my 60’s, I know the struggles and challenges of getting older. It’s harder to lose weight; aches and pains restrict movement; low energy makes us feel older and keeps us from engaging in activities we enjoy.
From my personal and professional experience, these challenges can be improved and reversed through a consistent strength and movement training program done 2-3 times a week.
After 25 years as a social worker, I took my passion for helping people in a totally different direction and enrolled in a course at UW-Madison. I became an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer.
I have over 12 years of experience as a personal trainer and have acquired a unique set of skills that sets me apart. I had the privilege of being mentored by two former Chicago Bull’s athletic trainers. I was a member of the first class of the Functional Aging Institute started by Dr. Dan Ritchie and Dr. Cody Sipe and became certified as a Functional Aging Specialist. My unique skills, certifications, and experience have positioned me to deliver effective safe training programs that will deliver results.
I am confident my training programs will improve your strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility and balance so you can move and feel better. We all want to enjoy and get more out of life. I can help you achieve it.
I offer different training session that you can choose from: Individual one on one training; semi-private training for 2-3 people; or small group training for 4-6 people. I would love the opportunity to talk with you about your health and fitness goals.
Together we can do this.
To your health and wellness,
